User guide

A practical guide to Zarvice: the goal, how each app works, the features, and the limits.

1. What the system is for

Zarvice is a property-maintenance marketplace focused on Michigan, United States. It connects a client who needs work with a suitable provider.

  1. The client submits a maintenance request.
  2. The system matches the request with providers by service and area.
  3. Communication stays inside the app (chat).
  4. The work is completed, then reviewed.

2. The two apps

From the home page, open the app you need — Zarvicei for clients or Zarvicer for providers.

3. Client app — how it works

Sign-in

  • A US phone number, or a test number from 1 to 100.
  • There is no password — the phone number is the username.
  • Google sign-in is available.

Request a service

  • Name, phone, Michigan location, address, services, and description.
  • Optional: budget, photo, and email.
  • Status starts as Pending, then Assigned / In progress / Completed or Cancelled.

Follow-up and chat

  • Tabs: Home, Requests, Jobs, Providers, Profile.
  • Message the provider only in the in-app chat.
  • Provider phone numbers stay hidden; reviews open after the job is complete.

4. Provider app — how it works

  • Sign in with a phone number or Google (same pattern as the client).
  • Complete the profile: individual or company, specialty, services, license and insurance.
  • Set a coverage area inside Michigan counties and cities.
  • Receive matching requests, message the client, then accept to be assigned exclusively.
  • Manage jobs: Assigned, In progress, Completed, Cancelled — edit or cancel according to status.
  • The client's phone and full address stay hidden from outside contact.

5. Features

  • Two apps: Zarvicei for clients and Zarvicer for providers.
  • Several languages, including Arabic (right-to-left).
  • Google sign-in for Zarvicei and Zarvicer.
  • Test numbers 1–100 for development.
  • In-app updates when a new version is available.
  • In-app notifications while you use Zarvice.
  • Communication privacy: phone numbers stay hidden and are blocked in chat.
  • Legal pages: privacy, terms, arbitration, support, and careers.

6. Limits

  1. Geography: focused on Michigan; import rejects ZIP codes outside the state.
  2. Distribution: install the Client or Provider app from the App Store, or use the website.
  3. Sign-in: Zarvicei and Zarvicer use the phone number.
  4. SMS: real sending needs Twilio.
  5. Older devices: may need a WebView or Chrome update to avoid a white screen.
  6. No off-platform contact: phone and email are hidden on purpose.
